Did you know that September is Self Care Awareness Month?
Some of you may be wondering well what is self care? Self Care has a wide description depending on your own personal needs but the main pillars are Mental, emotional, physical, environmental, spiritual, recreational and social.
1. Mental self care is creating a healthy mindset through every day mindful actions
Ex: Meditation, choices, hard and easy decision making.
2. Emotional self care is making sure your heart is safe and developing healthy coping mechanisms
Ex: Therapy, Life coaches, journaling, affirmations, sharing your feelings.
3. Physical self care is making sure you take care of your body, well balanced sleep and nutrition.
Ex: skin care routine, working out, yoga, physical trainer, a consistent bed time, ASMR, seeing a nutritionist, creating a food journal.
4. Environmental self care is taking care of the places in your area and community.

6. Recreational self care is enjoying your favorite hobbies and fun activities.
Ex: painting, skating, dancing, reading, writing and etc.
7. Social self care is building healthy relationships, connecting with others and keeping safe and clear boundaries.
Ex: Bonding moments with family or friends, safe and open communication, transparency.
